Winter sucks. Everything goes grey. I hate the cold so I stay inside. I basically hibernate. WELL IT'S FUCKING OVER! It's amazing how much a little snow fucks me up. I haven't updated this thing since the first snowfall so here it goes...

Well let's see. I started college. Just two classes. Two easy classes. I thought it would be nice to easy into school but now I see it was a bit of a mistake. I tend to slack off too much. Oh well. I'll pick more interesting things than math and a computer pre-req class next semester. I'm actually surprised at how fast the semester went by, 4 months doesn't seem like anything.

My mom was on the verge of losing her house. I've been floating her cash for a while now, but I'm not able to give as much as she needs. Well the g/f and I went over there yesterday and we figured it out. I or my brother might need to get an 8k loan to put a reverse mortgage into effect, but this means she can keep her house. So my brother and I can pay a loan and she can find a job and start putting money away for when she can't work anymore.

I still hate my job. It's really a cake job. I feel like a tard for bitching about it, but after two years of just sitting in an office with nothing to do....it starts to wear thin. I don't deal with boredom well. I had a panic attack where I thought I really fucked myself and got fired, but that was not the case. I'm trying to have a better attitude toward it, but it's already fading. What I really want to do is open my own computer shop. The market is there. I just don't know if I have what it takes to run a business.

AUDIOBOOKS! Where the fuck were these when I needed them. I've started listening to them at work as a way to pass the time. Good stuff. Found a few on Imeem and purchased a few of iTunes. Don't know how many I'll buy as they're kinda pricey.
PodCasts! In the same vein, the Control Point podcast is pretty amusing. Team Fortress 2 related. The guys who do it are pretty entertaining. I find myself chuckling alot. I want to catch them live this Sunday.

Developed a taste for whiskey this winter. Anything 6 years or older on the rocks is for the win. For a dark liquor it's been pretty good to me. Dark Rum used to tear me up. All my worst hangovers were with that stuff.

The lease at my apartment is almost up and the g/f and I need to shop around for a less shitty place. Wish us luck on that.
